If you fail to plan then you plan to fail is the old saying that goes around when objectives are not met. This is no different when it comes to finances. It is no good just dreaming of become wealthy but there needs to be a well written and actionable plan to accompany your goal.

Here’s a financial planning template that I personally created myself and currently use. Click here. I refer to it every week to see whether I am on track or not. Some people may say I know what I want to achieve in my head but believe me the moment you write it down with a pen and paper (or electronically) then you have something physically to grasp and this makes you physically accountable to something. Better still if you have someone who can hold you account to your plan then great – I call this the accountability friend!

Would love to hear from you on how you are getting on with your goal setting!
